Senior Machine Learning Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Machine Learning Engineer to lead the development of cutting-edge ML solutions at XIT Company. You will design and implement sophisticated ML systems at scale, mentor junior engineers, and drive technical decisions that shape our AI strategy.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement end-to-end machine learning systems for large-scale applications.
• Lead the development of advanced ML models including deep learning, NLP, and computer vision solutions.
• Architect and optimize ML pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Drive technical decisions on model selection, feature engineering, and system design.
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews.
• Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into ML solutions.
• Implement MLOps best practices including model versioning, monitoring, and automated retraining.
• Research and evaluate new ML technologies and methodologies.
• Lead cross-functional projects and coordinate with stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

• MS/PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field, or BS with significant experience.
• 5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering with production systems.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Strong experience with distributed computing (Spark, Ray) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Proven track record of deploying ML models at scale.
• Experience with MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow, or similar).
• Deep understanding of various ML algorithms, optimization techniques, and statistical methods.
• Experience with real-time inference systems and model serving.
• Strong software engineering skills and knowledge of system design.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts.
